Britteny Cuevas is a member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. She resides in Muskogee, OK. Brittany is of the Turtle Clan. She also attends ceremonial dances at Tvlvhvse Ceremonial grounds. Her tribal town is Concharty. Brittany is passionate about passing her knowledge of basket making to the next generation, and hosts basketry classes at the Tiger Art Gallery in Muskogee, OK. She teaches the woodland style basketry, better known as "Cherokee Style Double Wall", using the #2 round reed.
