Danny Beaver is a citizen of the Muscogee Creek Nation, Tuckabatchee tribal town, and he is Fuswvlke (Bird Clan). He is a also a Northern Traditional dancer. Beaver uses traditional southeastern designs from the Mississippian period, also known as the Mound period. He primarily creates his art using different types of wood. He is also an accomplished regalia maker and designer. His art is featured at the Smithsonian Institute of the American Indian in Washington, D.C. and many other museums across the country and other countries. Beaver is currently one of the last Mvskoke members that make traditional gun stock war clubs.
