Mary Howard

Mary Howard is a member of the Muscogee Creek Nation of Oklahoma.  Ms. Howard is a  figurative artist who paints primarily in acrylics. Mary prides herself on being a self-taught artist; painting what is most important to her and how she feels. Her subject matter consists of her life experiences and heritage. Her true passion is creating a timeless depiction of feminine sensuality within her portraits of women. With her paintings she hopes to convey a deep feeling of appreciation from a simplistic element which can be enjoyed by all. 

Mary has participated in a variety of shows throughout the Central United States and continues to expand her client base. She has won numerous awards, however takes greater pride in the individual purchases of her work. Mary feels a great deal of satisfaction when people view her work, and for a moment recognize the "appreciation of uncompromised simplicity".
