Irvin, Jr.  Born & raised in Kansas City, MO, Mr. Irvin served in the United States Marine Corps for 4 years & then became a police officer & served as Patrolman for 26 years, where he was selected to the Crisis Intervention Team, Hostage Negotiator, Undercover Street Narcotics Unit & Field Training Officer.  The book is both heartbreaking & inspirational.
